The development of the banking world very rapidly requiring banks are
there to get quality human resources, in order to produce the expected
human resources one way to do with motivating human resources
appropriately.Labor
productivity is the expected level of excellence and control over the
level of excellence to meet the wishes of customers. Productivity starts from the needs of customers and end on the perception of consumers. It
can be implemented interaction between employees (: employees) and
customers that include (a) the timeliness, with regard to the speed of
responding to the needs of customers; (B) the appearance of employees, with regard to cleanliness and suitability of dress; (C)
courtesy and response to the complaint, relating to the assistance
provided in resolving the issues raised customers, means that
productivity is good views of the perception of consumers instead of the
perception of the company. The perception of consumers on the productivity of services is the
total assessment on the need of a product that can be either goods or
services.Customer expectation is the conviction before using the services that
will be used as the standard in assessing the productivity of these
services.To
motivate human resources are appropriately used in the form of
intrinsic motivation that is driving labor sourced from within the
worker as an individual, and in the form of extrinsic motivation is the
driving force that comes from outside the workers in the form of a
condition that required him to carry out the work to the fullest. In this study, the authors focused on in the form of extrinsic motivation through bonuses.Bonuses
given to employees remains a motivating work that is both flexible and
measured by performance, where bonuses are given by the company is not
permanent and can be administered at any any allocated through the
company's profits, to date bonuses is a program that are sustainable and appropriate system in motivating employees.With the provision of these motivations is expected to employees to
actively participate in the activities of the company, so policies taken
by the company can give meaning and beneficial for employees and the
company.Productivity
of employees can be used as a measure of success of the employee in
performing the tasks which it is responsible, and when it began to be
felt a decrease in productivity, then efforts should be made to find the
causes, then look for a solution of the problem so that these problems
are not protracted and hamper the achievement of the company , Employee productivity is basically the objective conditions of employees in the work and there appears to be his work. Therefore, the higher the productivity of employees then his work will
be more effective and efficient, otherwise if employee productivity is
low, then the results of its work fails to demonstrate the effectiveness
and efficiency.Symptoms
of decline in employee productivity can be seen from the attitude
towards work, such as the completion of a task that often late,
responsibility for work that looks less noticed that the quality of
service is low, the work obtained not optimal due to non-fulfillment of
the work according to the standard or the expected goals ,Human resources be a major asset to a company. Achieving corporate goals depends on the productivity of human resources in it. Productivity is determined by the human resources work motivation
"impetus" that raises the morale and sense of responsibility in carrying
out its duties and it also can improve employee productivity.In connection with the above description, the authors are interested
in researching the title: "Influence of Motivation on Employee
Productivity Improvement at PT.Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Makassar
branch Ahmad Yani Unit Pioneer Independence".Based on the background that have been raised, then that becomes the
central issue in this paper is, How does the motivation in the form of
extrinsic through bonuses to the increased productivity of employees at
PT.Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Makassar branch Ahmad Yani Unit
