THE EFFECT OF TRAINING ON THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES IN THE DEPARTMENT OF INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE REGION PROVINCE South Sulawesi

In the context of development in the entire country, it would require the participation of all parties. Therefore, to accelerate the pace of development, it is expected to all parties, both government and private, large or small companies participate.Since the main goal of national development is the creation of a quality complete Indonesian man in an atmosphere of peaceful physical and spiritual prosperity in the life of society, nation and state in an atmosphere of national life that is sustainable and in harmony, in line with the above the more we realize the importance of the role of man as a subject as well as the object of development. Similarly, on a micro scale, especially in an organization, people are the main resource in order to achieve the goals set.Improving the quality of human resources as a prime mover in all fields is of paramount importance and a decisive factor in order to achieve the objectives to be achieved.Human Resources is one of the resources contained in the organization, including all the people who perform the activity. In general, the resources contained within an organization can be grouped into two kinds, namely: human resources and non-human resources.In the current era of globalization is characterized by a preparation that is very tight, then the problem is setting up an employee / employees who are qualified are able to compete with professionals from other countries or in other words preparing human resources with the skills specifically reliable and quality. Improvement of human resources as a prime mover in all fields is very important and this can be done through training programs.Training is an activity to improve and develop the attitudes, behaviors, skills and knowledge of employees in accordance with desired by the relevant agencies.Each training as an attempt to achieve an increase in labor productivity of a company / institution can not be separated from the influence of both influences from within and from outside the company / the institution. This influence requires every organization companies / agencies in order to improve services so as to meet the increasing needs of the community. To achieve high levels of productivity, many employers / agencies should improve both knowledge and skills of its employees in order to adapt to changes within the agency, where it can be achieved through education and training incentives.Increasing the quality of employees is an important aspect that should be kept and maintained by companies / institutions in connection with the desire of companies / institutions in order not to lose ground. Therefore, in the process of hiring new employees must choose a workforce with sufficient quality, in addition to working to improve long.Now the government has issued rules on coaching career civil servants, namely Law No. 43 of 1999 concerning employment subjects. In Article 12, paragraph 2 states that in order to attempt to improve the quality and skills as well as fostering the excitement of the work needs to be done coaching civil servants as well as possible.To conduct training for employees at government agencies will be able to obtain various benefits to party leaders and employees in decision-making. Thus the efforts to increase productivity and employee performance can be achieved without increasing the number of employees but enough with coaching, training and development of human resources.A government agency is always required to have training programs that lead to increased capacity and technical skills and managerial capabilities in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the agency. This will bring benefits to the agency, because the operational costs to be incurred can be minimized. Mistakes in work, work efficiency and effectiveness will be improved. As is the efficiency and effectiveness is to do a job to achieve results, not happen wastefulness of time and the use of available resources can be used in the best possible.This type of training that is currently applied olen Infrastructure Department of South Sulawesi province-common sub-section to its employees is a practical method and Vestibule Training eg training office, training library, keadministrasian training, computer courses for employees who handle finances. Basically, the training is done so that employees know and better understand their job specification.Based on these descriptions, the authors chose the title "THE EFFECT OF TRAINING ON THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES IN THE DEPARTMENT OF INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE REGION PROVINCE South Sulawesi"

Based on the background mentioned, the key problem in this study is whether the training through training Vestibule bias improve the performance of employees at the Department of Regional Infrastructure in South Sulawesi Province.
